TKKM o Te Puaha, affectionately known to many in Port Waikato as TKKM Primary School, stands proudly on Stack Road within this vibrant suburb of the wider Waikato region. As a full-fledged state school offering education from early years through primary levels, our doors are open and welcoming to every child regardless of gender.
With an approximate roll size that reflects diversity yet embodies unity with 51 students hailing primarily from the Māori community—accounting for a significant majority at about 89% —TKKM o Te Puaha is deeply rooted in its cultural heritage. This concentration of Māori and Pacific peoples forms an integral part of our school's character, shaping not only the student body but also enriching every aspect of learning with a unique perspective that celebrates indigenous knowledge.
