There is a Defence Experience Day (DED) focused on Operational Trades at Devonport Naval Base from 23–24 September 2025.
This is a great opportunity for students interested in the operational side of the NZDF to experience life on base and engage with our people and trades.
Trades: Seamanship combat specialist, Communication warfare specialist and more.
Event details:
Dates: 23–24 September 2025
Location: Devonport Naval Base, Auckland
Arrival: By 1600h on Tuesday, 23 September Departure: By 1400h on Wednesday, 24 September
Minimum age: 16 years old (must be 16 day of the event)
Photo ID required. A PT/Sport session may be included, so students should be prepared for light physical activity.
