Info webinar on Radiation Therapy

Monday 11/05/2026 - Thursday 14/05/2026

Students who are interested in finding out about a career in radiation therapy, there will be a Zoom webinar on Tuesday 21 July (week 1 of Term 3) to learn about what is involved. The degree is offered by Otago university but it is taught in Wellington, with just one cohort intake per year. Registrations for the webinar open now - see link on Y12/13 Teams. If other students want the link please email Mrs Catley for it ([email protected]). There is also an opportunity to tour the Radiation Therapy campus on the Wellington Tertiary open day Aug 21 - if going to Wellington for the open day and keen for the tour, register now as numbers will be limited to 60.

The webinar is open to anyone; the campus tour is limited to Y12s/13s who are seriously interested in considering this option.


Online seminar about careers in medical imaging (Y11-Y12)

Innovative Young Minds are offering an online information session for females in Y11 and Y12 about careers in medical imaging. It will include a panel of different medical imaging professionals, a virtual tour of a medical imaging practice, and some interactive activities.
