About Hurleyville School
Welcome to Hurleyville School, a charming educational institution nestled in the heart of Patea'in Taranaki/Whanganui/Manawatu region, New Zealand. With its picturesque setting along Ball Road and just steps away from local amenities like shops and parks, our school fosters an environment where learning thrives amidst community connections.
At Hurleyville School, we are proud to be a contributing institution with approximately 6 students in total enrolment. Our small class sizes allow for personalized attention from dedicated educators and strong relationships among peers as well as between teachers and parents/caregivers. This close-knit community ensures that each student receives the individual support they need to succeed.
Our school stands firmly on a foundation of core values, including respect for self and others, integrity in all aspects of life, responsibility towards our environment and society, as well as an appreciation for diversity. These principles guide us daily both inside the classroom walls and beyond them.
As we continue to grow together under one roof with a mix of year levels from early childhood education through primary school years (K-6), our principal Sarah Hampton leads by example, demonstrating these values every day. She is passionate about providing an inclusive learning experience for all students while encouraging them
