Loves-Me-Not is a New Zealand Police-delivered, one-day workshop for Year 12/13 students aimed at preventing abusive relationship behaviors through education and action. Developed in partnership with the Sophie Elliott Foundation, it empowers young people to recognize unhealthy relationship signs, understand consent, and act as effective bystanders to foster safer, respectful communities
Half of the Year cohort will be attending this programme on each of the days.

Medical Imaging Career Opportunities

They are offering an online session (IYM Satellite) on medical imaging careers to young women in Years 11 and 12 across Aotearoa.  The Satellite will provide an opportunity to see first hand what a career in Medical Imaging involves and connects students with those working in the Industry.

The programme will run for two hours and include a tour of Affinity Medical Imaging, a panel of Medical Imaging Technologists, Radiologists and Sonographers and an interactive activity.

They would love Year 11 and 12 female students to join them! The application process is easy, just follow the link on their website. A bonus, as this is a pilot, they will be running the programme for free.



SISS Boys Hockey

Nayland College will once again be represented at the SISS Boys Hockey Tournament, to be held in Greymouth during Winter Tournament Week, 31 Aug - 4 Sep 2026.

This is open to all Nayland College boys who play hockey. Please note that this will not affect your club hockey, as it is a separate event and the opportunity to represent your school.

We have an established coach and a manager who are keen to lead and support the team in both organised training sessions and competition.
