Checkmate, Knight Chess Course – Term 3
Following the outstanding performance of the Nelson College chess team in winning the NZCF Interschool Chess Championship, we are launching the Checkmate, Knight Chess Course, led by Chess Instructor Rami Riachi from Chess in Nelson.
The course will run for 6 Thursdays, from 17 July to 21 August, held in the library from 3:30 to 4:30pm, and will conclude with a final tournament.
Students will explore strategy, creativity, and critical thinking through engaging and structured lessons.
