Inter-Manaaki Debating Heat #1: Te Tonga vs Te Raki
<p>These will be prepared debates; this means that the debaters will meet lunch the day prior to the debate, the toss will be made and each team will then be given the motion. They will Period 3 to plan their speeches, however a general topic will be provided to all houses at least 4 days prior to the debates.<br>3 speakers will present a substantive (a main speech developing points) of between 3-4 minutes.<br>A speaker will then present the leader’s reply of between 2-3 minutes.</p> |
