Athletics Day is coming up in Week 4. There is something for everyone, with a mix of competitive and non-competitive events on offer including sprints, field events, the famous Epsom gumboot throw, and tutor class relays.

The IT Crowd are hosting a sign up session for the various IT clubs offered here at EGGS. These clubs (Robotics club, Coding/Animation club, E-Gaming club, InspireHer club) are a great way to learn how to code, or explore out-of-curriculum tech concepts. Veteran coders to beginner Minecraft players are all welcome. Slam Poetry Group

The Slam Poetry Group focuses on writing, performing, and refining spoken word pieces in preparation for the Word: The Front Line competition. Tryouts will run from 16 - 20 February. Students who enjoy sharing their voice, ideas, and creativity through poetry interests should email [email protected] to express their interest. Include the day you can attend, and be prepared to present a slam poem of your choice at the trial (no prior experience required).

Maths Lunchtime Help Sessions

Maths help sessions will run every Tuesday lunchtime for students to work on specific questions or concepts they find difficult. Bring classwork or homework to get guidance to improve understanding. Different Mathematics teachers will be available each week to help with a range of topics and questions.
