About Chaucer School
Welcome to Chaucer School, nestled in the heart of Blockhouse Bay within Auckland, where education is embraced with open arms by our diverse student body.
At this state-run contributing school on Chaucer Place, we are proudly co-educational and boast a vibrant community that brings together students from various cultural backgrounds. Our roll size of approximately 192 reflects the rich tapestry of cultures represented here; with nearly half (46%) being Asian heritage alongside our MELAA friends, we celebrate diversity as part of who we are.
Under the leadership of Principal Michael Fletcher, Chaucer School is dedicated to instilling values that resonate through every aspect of school life. Integrity and respect for one another form the cornerstone upon which our students build their character, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued.
As a contributing state school in Auckland'in Blockhouse Bay suburb, we are committed to providing quality education while also nurturing strong community ties. Our location within this dynamic region allows us the opportunity to connect with local resources and partnerships that enhance our students' learning experiences.
