About Macleans Primary School
Welcome to Macleans Primary School, nestled in the heart of Bucklands Beach on Wycherley Drive within Auckland’s vibrant educational landscape.
At our school, we pride ourselves on being a contributing state institution that fosters an inclusive and diverse learning environment. As Macleans Primary School is co-educational in nature, it encourages students of all genders to learn together harmoniously, promoting equality from the ground up.
With approximately 545 eager young minds on our rolls, we cater not only to local residents but also welcome international scholars into our fold. Our student community is rich with cultural diversity: a significant majority of students are Asian-descended at 69%, complemented by the European/Pākehā heritage which forms about 16% of our school population.
Our educational leadership, under Principal Matthew Cooke's guidance, is committed to nurturing every student’s potential. The principal ensures that all voices are heard and respected within the community, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both local children and those from abroad who seek an education in New Zealand.
As Macleans Primary School stands as part of Auckland's educational fabric, we remain dedicated to providing our students
