About Tikipunga High School
Welcome to Tikipunga High School, nestled in the heart of Whangarei’s suburb also named Tikipunga within Northland.
As a state-run secondary institution catering for students from Year 7 through to Year 15 (equivalent to grades 9 - 13), our school proudly maintains an approximate roll size of around 372 pupils. Our diverse student body reflects the rich cultural heritage of New Zealand, with a significant representation from Māori and Pacific Islander communities—comprising approximately 70% Māori students.
