TSSSA Badminton

Friday 9/05/2025 - Friday 16/05/2025

TSSSA Badminton is on Thursday 5 June at Spotswood College. If you are interested in signing up to play TSSSA Badminton you must come to the Sports Office to put you name down. This event is social and for players who do not compete, we will be checking all names. Taranaki Badminton will run a Taranaki age group championship event in the second half of the year for competitive players. Entries are extremely limited and will be on first come first served basis. We are only allowed to enter 2 Senior and Junior Singles, and 1 pair in both the Senior and Juniors, please come prepared with a pairing if you wish to do a pair. You will only be allowed to signup for one event.  


TSSSA Squash

TSSSA Squash is on Tuesday 9 June at Kawaroa Park Squash Club, New Plymouth 1:45pm-6pm. This event is for graded players. If you are interested in playing please message Mr Parker on teams, along with your NZ Squash Grade.  


TSSSA Badminton

There has been a change to TSSSA Badminton next week Thursday 5 June at Spotswood College. The event is now doubles only and we are able to enter more teams. If you are wanting to join please message Mr Parker on teams with the name of your partner. Spaces are still limited and those that were signed up originally will keep their place. Entries close Wednesday 11am 


Helpers for Fiafia Night

Fiafia night is fast approaching. This is where our students heading to Pasifika Fusion at the end of the term, will showcase all their hard work and incredible talent. It is a celebration of Pasifika culture, and we encourage everyone to come along on Friday 13th June, from 6 pm. We are looking for volunteers to help with greeting guests, serving tea and coffee and clean up, from 5.30 pm. If you are interested, please see Mrs Crewe in D1 asap.

ethics debate lunchtime! Whether you're a techie, a talker, or just in it for

of the weirdest and wildest tech dilemmas of our time.

Prizes include: $40 for our best delegate and $20 x 2 for our
runner ups.

If you need someone to talk to, the counselor will be there to support and help you! You can learn more about your own well-being and tips to improve your mindfulness! ??‍♀️?

Enviro Club Tech Event

The Enviro Club and tech leader Risha Nath are teaming up to do a lunchtime event in T3 on Tues June 3rd. We will be using recycled paper to make cutouts of our footprints and using our art skills to decorate them with your digital habits. Each person who attends will get a point towards a badge.


1SOS - Foodbank Donations Needed!

On Thursday 5th of June an organised food collection will be held as a donation for the food bank. It will be running in the hall foyer from 8-8:40am, and anyone who donates will receive a lolly. We are looking for mainly donations of canned food, but all donations are welcome. Thank you!
