About North Street School
Welcome to North Street School, nestled in the heart of Feilding at 52 North Street.
At this full primary co-educational school with an approximate roll size of 336 students, we embrace a diverse student community where Māori and European/Pākehā cultures come together to enrich our learning environment. Our commitment is deeply rooted in the values that are integral to New Zealand's educational ethos: respect for all individuals regardless of their background, fostering inclusive communities, promoting environmental stewardship, valuing cultural diversity and ensuring equal access to education.
Jo Reiri-Tatana brings her passionate dedication as our principal. Her leadership is instrumental in cultivating an educational experience that prepares students for the challenges of today's world while honoring New Zealand’s unique cultural landscape and history, particularly with regard to its indigenous Māori population.
Located within Manawatū-Whanganui region in Feilding—a town that prides itself on community spirit and strong connections between education and local culture—North Street School is more than just an institution. It's a place where students can grow academically, socially, and personally.
