About Ruahine School
Welcome to Ruahine School, a vibrant and inclusive learning environment nestled in the heart of Dannevirke on Maharahara Road.
At Ruahine School, we pride ourselves on our commitment to fostering an educational community that celebrates diversity and encourages all students to reach their full potential. As a state-run co-educational primary school serving approximately 162 eager learners from kindergarten through year six, we are dedicated to providing them with the foundation they need for lifelong success.
Our principal, Kate Greer, is at the forefront of our mission as she leads Ruahine School in creating an environment where every student feels valued and supported. With a focus on strong relationships between staff, students, parents, and whanau (extended family), we strive to create meaningful connections that extend beyond academic achievement.
Located within the Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand's North Island, Ruahine School is conveniently situated in Dannevirke. Our school serves as a hub for students from surrounding areas and fosters strong ties with our local community.
