About Arowhenua Maori School
Welcome to Arowhenua Maori School, an educational gem nestled in Temuka within Canterbury.
Our school is a vibrant and inclusive community where the rich tapestry of Māori culture intertwines with contemporary learning. At our co-educational full primary establishment on Huirapa Street, Arowhenua, we proudly embrace diversity as part of our core values.
With an approximate roll size of 42 students from various ethnic backgrounds including a significant Māori presence at 72%, the school fosters unity and understanding among its student body. Our European/Pākehā community members, making up about 19% of our families, contribute to this cultural blend that enriches each child's educational experience.
