About Heriot School
Welcome to the Heriot School, a vibrant educational community nestled in Tapanui within the scenic region of Otago.
At Heriot, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive co-educational institution that caters for students from Year 1 through to Year 8. With our approximate roll size standing at a close-knit group of around 63 learners, each student is afforded the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and engaging environment.
Under the leadership of Principal Colin McHutchon, Heriot School continues to uphold its commitment to providing quality education while fostering strong values within our students. As part of New Zealand's state school system, we ensure that every child receives a well-rounded and comprehensive learning experience.
