Welcome to Waianiwa School, nestled in the heart of Southland on Argyle Otahuti Road within our vibrant suburb of Waianiwa.
At Waianiwa School, we cherish a diverse community where every student's unique heritage is celebrated. Our current roll size reflects this diversity with 58 students from various cultural backgrounds contributing to the rich tapestry that makes up our school family—a significant blend of Asian and European/Pākehā cultures, which adds depth to Waianiwa School's character.
As a state-run full primary co-educational institution from Year 1 through Year 8, we are committed to providing an inclusive learning environment for all children. Our school is proud of its commitment to nurturing young minds in preparation for the next stage of their educational journey.
