Science Careers Summer Camp

Through the 3 day Rural Innovation Youth Summit over the summer holidays, Massey University will show Year 12 and 13 students who are taking Biology/Chemistry/Physics (in 2027) what agriculture, horticulture, animal science and the environment is all about. Students will take part in hands-on activities and workshops designed to bring the subjects and careers to life.   There is huge demand for university graduates in these sectors!

Cost $100 (including food and accomodation for three days)  

There is also the opportunity of travel funding.

ENGINEERING FOR GIRLS

8 Sep 2026 – 11 Sep 2026

This free four-day, three-night residential programme gives young women in Year 12 (2027)  the opportunity to experience Engineering study and university life while connecting with current students, academics, and industry professionals.  

SheENG is designed for students who are hardworking, enjoy problem-solving, and have an interest in engineering, including those who may have discounted the field because they didn't believe they were "smart" enough. Often, these students gain the most from the experience.  

Accommodation in the university halls of residence and meals are provided throughout the programme.
