2 Jun 2026 – 30 Jun 2026Gain the New Zealand Certificate in Apiculture (L3)
This industry qualification is an entry point for Apiculture. Use it to kick start your career in the Apiculture industry or as a beekeeping hobbyist.
- NCEA credits: 23 credits at Level 2
- Start date: Thursday 20th August 2026. Course is for 1 day/week Term 3 and 4 2026 and Term 1 2027 The programme is designed to follow the growing season.
- Need to be 16 years old at the start of the course
- No cost. Fully funded. Specialist gear all supplied

Waikato secondary school climbing champs 2026
19 Jun 2026 – 24 Jun 2026Registrations are open for this year's secondary school team climbing champs. Register on SchoolBridge to enter the HHS team.
Registration closes Monday July 20th.
Competition day: Wednesday July 29th.
Note: Minimum requirements per team are 2x Junior (y9-10) & 2x Senior (y11-13) 6 team members.
Maximum of 2 teams (12 climbers) per institution.
