About Orakei School
Welcome to Orakei School, nestled in the heart of Auckland on Grace Street within the culturally rich suburb also named Orakei.
At our full primary co-educational school, we are proudly led by Principal Shanthan Naidu. Our educational journey is deeply rooted in Māori values and beliefs with 41% of the student body being of Māori descent—a testament to Orakei's strong cultural heritage.
With an approximate roll size of 235 students, our school community thrives on inclusivity. The diverse European/Pākehā and Pacific populations enrich the learning environment with a variety of perspectthood that reflect New Zealand's multicultural society.
