Welcome to Te Kura Mana Maori o Matahi, nestled in the heart of our vibrant Bay of Plenty region at 1176B Matahi Valley Road, where education is deeply rooted within and celebrated through culture. As a full-primary co-educational state school with an approximate roll size of 16 students, we cherish the opportunity to create individualized learning experiences for each child that reflect our rich heritage.
Our proud Māori student community makes up 94% of our enrolment. This concentration is a testament to Te Kura's dedication as an educational institution where the values and traditions of Ngāti Awa, Tūwharetoa, Waikato-Tainui, Ngatikaahuerekehuiauatanga, Wairarapa iwi are not only acknowledged but celebrated daily.
