About Whareorino School
Welcome to Whareorino School, an inclusive educational environment nestled in Awakino on Waikawau Beach Road within North Taranaki of the beautiful region of Waikato.
At our co-educational full primary school with approximately 8 students enrolled across Year levels one to six, we cherish a diverse and harmonious community where both European/Pākehā and Māori cultures are celebrated. Our student body is composed of an equal representation from these two ethnic groups, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry that Whareorino School stands for.
Under the leadership of Principal Wendy Payne, our school embodies values such as respect, inclusiveness, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Our students are nurtured in an atmosphere where their unique backgrounds contribute positively to the collective experience at Whareorino School.
