About Nuhaka School
Welcome to Nuhaka School, an integral thread in the fabric of our vibrant Hawke's Bay region nestled within the heart of New Zealand’s beautiful countryside at 14 Ihaka Street. As a full-fledged primary education institution serving approximately 97 students from diverse backgrounds including Māori and European/Pākehā, Nuhaka School is proud to be an inclusive co-educational environment where every child's unique heritage contributes to our collective learning experience. With a student community makeup of over half being Māori, the school embodies rich cultural diversity and fosters respect for all cultures represented within its walls.
