About Waiheke High School
Welcome to Waiheke High School, a vibrant and inclusive educational community nestled on the scenic shores of Waiheke Island in Auckland.
At this co-educational state school catering for students from Year 7 through to Year 15 (equivalent to ages 13–18), we pride ourselves on a diverse and dynamic student body, with an approximate roll size of 383 young minds eager to learn.
Our principal, Cameron Flude, has been at the helm for several years now, fostering an environment where every child is encouraged to excel academically while also embracing their unique talents and interests. Under his leadership, Waiheke High School continues to grow as a beacon of excellence in education on Auckland's beautiful North Shore.
Our school values are rooted deeply within our community; we believe that learning should extend beyond the classroom walls and into every aspect of life. We emphasize respect, integrity, responsibility, teamwork, compassion, inclusivity, resilience, creativity, curiosity, empathy, environmental stewardship, global awareness, cultural understanding, lifelong learning, critical thinking skills, effective communication, leadership potential and a strong sense of identity.
