Students who are interested in finding out about a career in radiation therapy, there will be a Zoom webinar on Tuesday 21 July (week 1 of Term 3) to learn about what is involved. The degree is offered by Otago university but it is taught in Wellington, with just one cohort intake per year. Registrations for the webinar open now - see link on Y12/13 Teams. There is also an opportunity to tour the Radiation Therapy campus on the Wellington Tertiary open day Aug 21 - if going to Wellington for the open day and keen for the tour, register now as numbers will be limited to 60.
The webinar is open to anyone; the campus tour is limited to Y12s/13s who are seriously interested in considering this option.
Students interested in finding out about programmes offered at University of Auckland are invited to join their online information evening on Tuesday. There will be a programme of many 20-30 minute sessions giving an overview of various degrees throughout the evening with multiple sessions available to choose from in each time slot. This is a good starting point for students keen to learn about the options available at UoA. More detailed information is offered at their on-campus open day at the end of August. This time it will be held at St Peter's, on Tuesday 16 June after school. Come along to get career ideas and information about lots of different universities, training schools, and gap year options all in one place. Plus there will be some talks and presentation sessions. Suitable for Y10-13 and their parents.

An advisor from VUW is coming to do a lunchtime talk on Thursday about Victoria Uni and what it's like to be a student in Wellington. All students welcome. Come to 134 at break 2.
