Students interested in finding out about the Army Reserve Force are invited to an information night on Thursday 25 Sept (first week of the holidays). Being involved in this force is a part time Army role, offering a change in routine from your study or work. Training is one weekend per month along with occasional weekday evenings. Minimum commitment is 20 days per year. The Reserve Force supports the Army and offers a lot of the same skills and training, without the fulltime commitment. Students can be involved at the same time as studying at uni, or working. This is the same as the one held last month, just another opportunity to go if you couldn't make it last time.
Media Design School is holding a "Designer for a Day" event for Y11-13 students in the holidays. It is free to attend, but registrations are essential, limited to 24 students
