Waikato University Open Day

Friday 8/05/2026 - Wednesday 13/05/2026

Waikato University's open day is on Friday 22 May. Special buses are available to take students from Auckland to the university. Buses are free but you must register for them and be at the designated pickup point on time. Students travelling to the open day must register for both the open day AND the bus. Links to register are on the Y12 and Y13 Teams pages. Bus bookings close on 14 May, or earlier if they reach capacity. Students attending the open day must have parents' permission and parents must notify the school as it is on a school day.

This is a call out for any Year 12 and 13 students who are interested in Physical Education and Health scholarship this year. Please attend a meeting next Wednesday Break 1 in 134. This is a meeting to gauge interest in who would like to commit to PEH scholarship. You do not need to be a PEH student to attend. All future sessions will be held on Tuesdays Break 2 Day 2/Week A in 134. If you are wanting to find out more, please attend. At the end of the meeting, I will be taking names of those who will be entered into and attend all future workshops.

Waikato University's open day is on Friday 22 May. Registrations for the free buses have closed but you can still attend if you make your own way there. Students attending the open day must have parents' permission and parents must notify the school as it is on a school day.
