About Te Kopuru School
Welcome to Te Kopuru School, nestled in the heart of Northland on Norton Street within our vibrant suburb also named Te Kopuru.
At Te Kopuru, we are a full-primary co-educational school where diversity and inclusivity form the cornerstone of our educational philosophy. With an approximate roll size of 84 students from various backgrounds including Māori (53%) and European/Pākehā communities (32%), each child is valued as a unique individual contributing to our rich tapestry.
Under the leadership of Principal Murray Hawke, we strive not only for academic excellence but also foster strong community connections and respect for cultural heritage. Our location in Te Kopuru allows us access to local resources while providing a sense of belonging among our student body that is deeply rooted within Northland's warmth.
Enrolment Process:
To join the thriving community at Te Kopuru School, prospective families are invited to engage with us through an enrolment process that is as welcoming and inclusive as our school environment. Interested parents or guardians can reach out directly via email or phone for initial inquiries.
