About Taipa Area School
Welcome to Taipa Area School, nestled in the heart of Northland at 578 State Highway 10 within the vibrant suburb of Taipa.
At Taipa Area School, we are proudly a composite school that embraces both boys and girls from Year 1 to Year 13. Our diverse student body reflects our strong Māori heritage with over 65% identifying as Māori or Pacific peoples alongside the European/Pākehā community, which makes up approximately 27%. We celebrate this rich cultural tapestry that enriches Taipa and strengthens our collective identity.
Under the leadership of Principal Lisa White, we are a state school committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where every student is valued. Our roll size stands proudly at around 429 students who thrive in this supportive community atmosphere that encourages personal growth and academic excellence.
As Taipa Area School, we are not just a building; it's the lifeblood of our region. We stand as an educational pillar within Northland’s dynamic landscape, fostering connections between education and local culture while preparing students to become global citizens.
