About Moerewa School
Welcome to Moerewa School, nestled in the heart of Northland at 70 Otiria Road.
This vibrant state school is a composite education hub for children from Year 1 through to their final year. With an approximate roll size that includes around 124 students, Moerewa School fosters a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where diversity thrives.
As one of the few co-educational schools in this region, it proudly serves both boys and girls alike. The student community is rich with Māori heritage – 90% identifying as such or Pacific backgrounds adds to our unique character that celebrates cultural identity while providing a strong sense of belonging.
