About Te Kura o Torere
Welcome to Te Kura o Torere, nestled in the heart of Opotiki within the culturally rich Bay of Plenty region.
At this full primary co-educational school with a special focus on Māori culture and values, Principal Wency Rewi leads our small community. Our enrolment process is welcoming to all families in Opotiki who share the vision of providing an educational environment that honors their heritage.
With approximately 35 students from kindergarten through year six, Te Kura o Torere offers a close-knit and supportive atmosphere. Our school is proud to serve as part of Opotiki'in unique tapestry where Māori culture permeates every aspect of life.
