About Te Kura Mana Maori Maraenui
Welcome to Te Kura Mana Maori Maraenui, an integral thread in the fabric of our vibrant Opotiki suburb within the Bay of Plenty region.
At this co-educational full primary school nestled at 11 Maraenui Pa Road, we cherish a close-knit community where approximately 27 students learn and grow together. Our student body is predominantly Māori – representing an overwhelming majority of our young scholars.
Under the guidance of Principal Moringa Pirikahu, we foster a learning environment that honours Te Aroha's values and embraces diversity. Our school is more than just numbers; it’s about connections – to each other, our heritage, and the land.
Enrolment at Maraenui opens with an inviting process designed for all families in Opotiki. We encourage prospective parents or guardians to visit us as we believe personal interaction is key to understanding what makes Te Kura Mana Maori unique and special within our region.
