About Te Kura o Te Whanau-a-Apanui
Welcome to Te Kura o Te Whanau-a-Apanui, a vibrant state composite school nestled in the heart of Opotiki, Bay of Plenty. With an approximate roll size of 192 students from Year 1 through to year 15, our community thrives on inclusivity and diversity.
Principal Teia Herewini, with her deep understanding of the Māori culture which forms a significant part of this school's identity at 86%, leads us as we embrace co-education, fostering an environment where all students can learn and grow together.
